Monte Schisler

Born and raised in the Midwest, Monte Schisler moved to the Eastern Shore from Branson, Missouri in the spring of 2004. As Director of Membership for Troon Golf, Monte arrived here at the beach to help get the Peninsula Golf and Country Club off the ground when it was only a cornfield and a set of plans.


Today, Monte is considered a “real estate specialist” on what The Peninsula has to offer. In fact he is there several times a week showing his clients the various options available at The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay, home to Delaware's first private Jack Nicklaus Signature Designed Golf Course. In fact, Monte may know The Peninsula Club and course better than anyone, as he caddied for Jack Nicklaus during his inaugural round when the “Golden Bear” fired a 1-under par 71 from the back set of tee’s. Monte has since transformed his vast knowledge of the development from the golf side, to real estate. In 2006 he became a licensed real estate agent in Delaware.

Joining the Ocean Atlantic sales team in the summer of 2008, Monte is focused on custom home sites, and single family home living at The Peninsula Resort – but he can also assist you in finding that “dream come true” anywhere here along the Delaware Shore, from Lewes to Rehoboth Beach and Bethany, to any point in between. When he’s not working, you can find Monte teeing it up on one of our area golf courses as he continues the quest for the perfect golf swing. Monte will also be happy to keep you informed on the success of the Missouri Tigers, Missouri State Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. He also likes to travel to other cities for minor league baseball and college football in case you have an extra ticket!
